From Bucegi to Fagaras mountains. During this Hut to Hut tour, you will cross some of the most beautifull part of the Charpathians mountains. It's an unforgetable experience.
DAY 1: Henry Coanda Bucharest airport greeting and transfer by mini-bus to Sinaia resort. Time: 2 hours. Vicinity tour (money exchange!) visit Peles castle and Sinaia monastery, accomodation in Hotel or Guest house, welcome dinner.
DAY 2: By cable car up to Cota 2000m and hike to Babele hut 2200m - Omu hut 2507m overnight in dormitory. (no water).
Walking time: 5 hours; Difficulty: easy
DAY 3: Descent on Tiganesti ridge to Poarta village. Accomodation in a Guest house double rooms.
Walking time: 6 hours; Difficulty: easy
DAY 4: Visit Dracula castle and transfer by mini-bus to Negoiu hut 1546m in Fagaras mountains. Overnight in dormitory, common toillete.
Walking time: 4 hours; Difficulty: easy
DAY 5: Climb Negoiu peak 2535m and hike up to Balea lake hut 2027m. Overnight in double rooms.
Walking time: 8 hours; Difficulty: difficult
DAY 6: Hike to Podragu hut 2136m. Overnight in dormitory (cold water shower).
Walking time: 6 hours; Difficulty: easy
DAY 7: Climb Moldoveanu peak 2544m, the highest peak in Romania and hike to Sambetei valley hut 1400m. Overnight in dormitory (cold water shower).
Walking time: 8 hours; Difficulty: medium
DAY 8: Descent to Brancoveanu monastery for a tasteful lunch. Vicinity tour/free time. Accomodation at the monastery or Guest house.
Walking time: 3 hours; Difficulty: easy
DAY 9: Transfer by mini-bus to Henri Coanda Bucharest airport.
Time: 5 hours (last occasion to spend Romanian money ron, souvenirs, drinks, etc) END OF THE PROGRAM.
